Abrancongelados is dedicated to the import, processing, packaging, and commercialization of a wide range of frozen food products.

In less than a decade, Abrancongelados has quintupled its turnover, operating in both domestic and international markets. Domestically, the company benefits from a privileged geographic location in the center of the country, enabling distribution throughout the entire national market. Internationally, the company has been investing in exploring new markets for exporting its full product portfolio, with contacts already established across various continents.

The company continues to grow and innovate in order to meet market demands, providing tailored solutions to the needs of its partners while always respecting current regulations regarding environment, hygiene and occupational safety, quality, and food safety.

The main objective of Abrancongelados is to ensure — throughout the entire supply chain — the quality, safety, and traceability of its products.

We continuously invest in our Food Safety and Management System and are certified under ISO 22000:2018.

In 2015, Abrancongelados established a quality department, which, driven by management and supported by the purchasing, sales, and logistics departments, implemented a Food Safety and Management System (FSMS). This system was subsequently certified under the ISO 22000:2018 standard, which specifies a set of recognized essential requirements to ensure the safety of food products along the food chain up to the final consumer. In this way, we guarantee consumers’ confidence in the products they consume.

Abrancongelados is committed to maintaining a quality policy aimed, among other goals, at sustaining trust with its clients and consumers by providing quality products and meeting various requirements, including supplier selection and raw material standards.

We are currently working towards certification for the Chain of Custody for Sustainable Fishing (MSC).
