Hake Burger
Preparation
1. Season the Abrancongelados hake fillets with lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and mustard. Let sit for about 15 minutes.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
3. Place the flour and the panko breadcrumbs in two separate bowls.
4. Coat the hake fillets in the following order:
- Eggs
- Flour
- Eggs again
- Panko
5. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for about 20 minutes, until golden and crispy.
6. Place the fillets in hamburger buns and serve with herb mayonnaise, lettuce, and onion. Alternatively, you may serve them with a salad.
